Hi! Welcome to the LABOR OF LOVE HALLOWEEN HOP – Days 1 and 2: hosted by Ellen Card Monkey and Madison at Funky Cards. This is a great cause as the cards and banners are going to the children at Pediatric Specialty Care (PSC) in Bucks County, PA. Hopefully our handiwork will brighten their days! If you're just visiting, be sure to go back to the start at http://cardmonkey-business.blogspot.com/
I have two banners today on my blog - mine and my friend Rhonda (who doesn't have a blog)...
Here's my banner and card:
Banner individual shots
My card
The inside of the card
Details of my card & banner - Banner shape cut on my cricut; patterned papers are Echo Park Halloween. The large characters are Reminisce Moon Shine Crew, and the small stickers are from Sandy Lion. Solid color paper from my stash. I did fake stitching & outlines on the letters. I cut out the words trick or treat with my cricut and gypsy...

Thanks so much to Jennifer and Ellen for letting me be part of such a wonderful reason for a blog hop!
This was definitely a fun way to put my stash to good use:Gypsy and Cricut cartridges: Cricut Lite Lovely Floral (banner shape), Pooh Font Set (Marker)Paper and embellishments: My Mind's Eye "BOO! to You" paper and accessories pack
Bling: white gel pen (faux stitching), Black Diamond Stickles (highlight dotted lines above spiders), Jumbo Java VersaMagic Dew Drop inkpad (ink banner shapes and letters, faux stitches), Gelly Roll Stardust clear gel pen (highlight spider webs and thin stripes), small googly eyes (bat)
Fiber: EK Success (any eyelash yarn will do)
Essentials: scissors, ruler, tape runner, foam adhesive, super tacky tape, scoring board/tool
I used the Gypsy to hide everything included in the banner shape except the outline. The large banner pieces were cut at 6.24"; the small pieces at 3.36" (tried to get as close to 4" wide and 2" wide, as possible). I cut the "HAPPY" letters at 1.75" and the "HALLOWEEN" letters at 3". The tops were scored to fold towards the front, and then it was time to bling everything up :). I hope the kids will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it for them!
Thanks for taking a peek and hope everyone has a spook-tacular Halloween!
Rhonda
