Hi!
I've been super busy getting ready for Christmas and haven't had a chance to post... But I'll be back next week since I'll have more time.
I wanted to share with you what I made for my staff for Christmas. I got the idea on http://pinterest.com/
If you're not already on Pinterest, you should check it out... It's so fun!
The original idea is here:

I loved her idea but wanted to do something a little different.....
So I got family & friends drinking Frappacinos for me (I love Starbucks but I couldn't drink 20 in time to make them... and I got to work...
So, here's mine:
I bought a giant roll of fuzzy ribbon at JoAnn's (I still have a ton of it left), and black velvet paper.
Ribbon cut at 8 1/2" and the black ribbon at 3/4" (I'm not 100% sure). Plain white paper for the center line. The buckle is gold paper, cut with my Creative Memories square punch (I think, in retrospect, it might have been easier to use my Cricut), and LOTS of glue! The fur is from JoAnn in their cut ribbon section (I bought all they had and had to get some other types, but this is the best kind - and much less messy).
The hat is the same ribbon, glued around the lid, and then more fur and then used glue dots to hold it down and to add the white pompom. I am not sure that the glue dots are holding as I see that the lid is starting to come unglued today :( Hot Glue gun might be the best choice...
I filled them with candy & of course, gave them with some other Santa themed gifts, and my Santa themed card (that used all the same products)...
I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, crafty and prosperous 2012!
Thanks so much for visiting!
Jennifer
