It's my birthday blog hop! Post 1 3/12/11

As many of you know, I've been away on business this past week... I had every intention of getting this card done before today, but it didn't work out that way... In fact, I was coloring tulips on the plane on the way home from Las Vegas!!!


I love tulips; they're my favorite flower... so when I saw this digi, I knew I had to make a card with it....  I got the digi from http://www.birdscards.com/Default.aspx?tabid=459


I'm not the best at coloring with my copics (and I only have one red marker) but I'm having fun learning...
So on to the card (which is why you're here anyways!)

I used the following copics:YG03,YG25, B00, B02, B14, Y13, R08, clear and red spica pen

The happy birthday is a sticker that I got from Stamping Fools, the gems are jolees, and the ruby red paper was cut with my stampin up punch and the ribbon I've had forever (as well as the paper)

I also included this in the link up 

The inside of the card is from citrus stack.  I left it blank because I ordered some cool sentiment stamps - but they're not here yet!!!
I have to share the photo of my kitty helping my make my card because I think it's so adorable....
