Summer blog hop 5/21-5/22

Welcome to the Summer Blog Hop!  If you were just looking at my blog and want to hop along, you're at the start!  This blog hop is intended to help you get in the mood for summer!  The weather hasn't been all that great here lately; but today was a gorgeous day, and I actually got to sit outside and drink iced tea for a while; it was a nice treat!  So maybe take your computer outside, if you can, and enjoy the weather and all the inspiration you're going to get!  There are 23 other very talented designers that you'll be visiting!


So without further ado; here's my card...

I saw this paper on a recent trip to JoAnn; I think it was on sale; but it looked so summery!  I always think of pedicures when I think of summer; my friend (and sometimes my mom) and I go get pedi's... I love them... and enjoy having cute toes!  And of course you have to wear flip flops when you get a pedi!

I used paper I had on hand; citrus stack for the chill out and the straps.  I've had the green flowers, and the blue flowers are just white flowers that I colored with my copic markers (a pretty good match, I think!) and of course some gems!

Ok, so I have some news for you...

I will be hosting a contest; my first one....  So hopefully I have thought through all the bugs.

1) Create a card or layout - theme is celebrating someone you love
(can be animal). 

2) You have a little over a week to create and post on your blog post and on this one via inlinkz on my page.  This will be enabled at the top of the page.  If you don't have a blog you can still post a picture.  Card must be posted by 5/31
