Hi!
I'm sitting in front of the computer & I just went through my big bag 'o catalogues from my trip to CHA. I was lucky that I had an extra bag with me because I think they would have made my suitcase over weight... :)
So a couple more things I wanted to share and then I'll share two cards with you....
I tried these phenomenal markers - called touchdown! from www.shinhanart.com. These are just like copies, but at a fraction of the price. I don't know where you can buy them yet, but they were a huge hit at CHA...
I'm sort of regretting not buying a paper cutter that I liked - CARL 12210 Bidex heavy-duty rotary trimmer, 14-1/2 x 22 base, 12 cut I forgot at the show and then was sick when we left.. I may hold off and use my birthday money for it!
I had the pleasure of meeting Sandy from Operation Write Home - http://operationwritehome.org/ Sandy & I have emailed & Facebooked but never met in real life. It was a pleasure to get to make some cards for our heroes & meet her at the OWH booth.
So the big news, my Silhoutte Cameo arrived, and I finally took it out of the box. I don't know that I'll cut anything with it today, but I did take a minute and look through their online store - they have some really cute images! You'll be seeing some projects with it when I'm back to blogging again in a few weeks....
I am working on the app update.. Sickness delayed me, my apologies. I have a bunch of cards to add - just need to work on it... I'll let you know when it's released...
Here are a few of the make & takes that we did at CHA - just got them out of my suitcase...
I'm liking the quality of the pictures from my new iPhone.. :)
Another topic like marker... I wasn't fond of topic on metal...
Cute card with spray - the embellishment was already on the paper... My apologies, I can't remember where it was from...
Used the i-top for the first time http://www.imaginisce.com/ and made a cute quilled heart (super easy) www.quilledcreations.com
Great color spray from http://www.lindystampgang.com/
Cute Magnolia stamp http://magnoliaminiworld.com/
Fun light up badge "bling" - www.mydazzu.com
Cute gift box - love the flower - and the neat punched border wrap... Super simple... I can't remember who's punches they were... So Sorry!!!
Thanks for hanging in there... And here are a couple of cards for you...
My valentines day card:
which was inspired by a Starbucks gift card...
and a birthday card for our friend, who's turning 40...
Have a great day!
Tomorrow starts guest designers again - you have 4 more weeks of awesome guest designers (hope you've enjoyed the 2 from the previous weeks) and I'll be back after that... I will be updating the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CraftyCardGallery - so be sure to check that out too!
Talk to you soon!
