Hi!
Happy Mothers Day to all you Mom's out there! I'll share a card I made for my Aunt.... You can't see the card I made for my Mom or Mother in law.... yet... They'll be posted here on 5/19 for the next Challenge - We're quilling!
The great people at Quilled Creations sponsored the next challenge. It was my first time (and many other's) quilling... And I've seen a few of the projects and they're breathtaking! You will want to be sure to check back on the 19th... And there will be an opportunity for you to link up a project for a chance at a great prize!
So my apologies for not being on here much lately... I've been working on the next app, which will be challenges and sketches and have been working on another project with a friend. We're launching an online card making magazine. We've got most of the articles and cards and just need to get it laid out and designed. We're hoping for it to be ready at the end of the month... so I will keep you posted here...
And my other cool moment for today, which I shared on the Facebook page, is that I got some cards yesterday from someone, and when I got her information today, she lives in China. I find it very cool that people all over the world are playing with the app & following my blog & Facebook page...
So for a chance to win a prize, comment and tell me where you're from....
So without further ado, here's the card:
Photo paper, chalk inks, and memento ink for the stamp. Both are from Stampin Up. Fake stitching with white gel pen. Pearls from Stampin Up.
Have a great day!
Jennifer
Oops better late than never! :) Came looking for the Quilled Hop and saw your beautiful Mother's Day Card, just lovely! I am from Massachusetts, Cape Cod, Chatham, South Chatham to be exact. We call it "living on the elbow" If you look at the state and see the "arm" protruding out into the Atlantic, Provincetown is the "fist" and Chatham is ON the "elbow" :) Have a wonderful day, Jennifer!
