Hello Everyone,
Welcome to "Technique Tuesday"
I'm Christina.
Today I'm going to show you how to make a blank piece of paper into a colorful design, using inks and stamps. You can use any type of ink, I prefer the distress inks because they dry quickly and can be overlapped to create different effects. As for the stamps I chose a set from Stampin' Up - Circle Circus. This set reminds me of the game from the 80's, Spiral Graph. Us kids used to have fun playing this game, and posting our art work on the fridge for family and friends to see.
Does anyone else remember this game?
Here is some of the inks and stamps I used to create the pattern paper...
This is one of many patterns you can create...
I used this design to coordinate with other papers for cards...
I inked the edges of the design to give it more definition.
And for a finishing touch, you can also create a unique look to your envelopes as well.
This is fun and easy to create your own pattern paper.
Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for more exciting projects coming soon....

ReplyDeleteI used Ranger Distress inks in Chipped Saphire, Vintage Photo and Stormy Sky, to coordinate with the papers I used. You can use any color of inks.
