Fun Folds....Part One

Welcome to Fun Folds - Part One

I'm Christina.

Today I'm going to be showing you how to add different techniques to your fun folds card. This card is called a mountain fold, because of it's peeks and valleys...you can notice them on the folds.

I chose the colors of red, cream and gold. The pattern paper is from the Vampire Collection. I thought it would add a nice touch.

The Textured Embossing Folder is from Sizzix - Valentine #3.

I used Copic markers to color the hearts, gold Acrylic paint for the out line and a distress ink sponged over to give the embossed image an aged look. I also used glossy accents on the hearts, to give them a nice finish.

For the word "Love", I used Olivia Alphabet die set. I like using this type of die, because of it's elegant style.

Notice the word "Love" in the centre of the card, I cut out a circle from the embossing folder and used that for the letter "o", to add dimension and character.

The Mountain Fold card can be used for any occasion and it's fun to create.
