Hello Crafty Card Gallery friends, Thia here from Blue Moon Creation Crafting Station, with today's PENGUIN post. This month you've been enjoying cards featuring penguins or a black and white theme...I decided I liked the penguin idea and decided to create one myself. This cutie will be available soon over at the Blue Moon Creation Crafting Station.
I also found my inspiration for the creation of this card from multiple places. The addition of newspaper is from this weeks challenge over at Get Inky! Challenge (Use Newspaper or Yellow Pages in your project). The splatter background is something I picked up while attending Copic Certification classes earlier this month (made my own sparkle spray using Copic ink, blender solution, and powder placed into a spritzer bottle then sprayed onto glossy photo paper).
The heart in the penguin's hand is also a BMCCS digi that has the word love written in various languages.
I used washi tape with the newspaper to create banners, colored the penguin in with my Copic markers (using cool gray to create the black), attached the layers using my Tombow glue, and used double sided foam adhesive behind half of the heart for dimension. I added 3 Dew Drops to tie it all together.
Thanks for stopping by! Please visit my blog for more info on the products or techniques used to create this card. Until next time...craft on!
super cute card...
