Hi!
I had a great day! I got the opportunity to go to CHA this year - only 1 1/2 days (1/2 day today and I get to do a full day on Monday). I'm not a member, so I couldn't go to any of the amazing classes, but I did get to walk the floor today. I wanted to share with you, since hearing others talk about CHA made me want to go...
I got there around 2:30 and was excited to see the banner on the convention center:
Then I walked into the convention hall. It is HUGE!!! I started walking from booth to booth. I'll be honest, I thought no one would talk to me since I didn't have a store - but most everyone was very nice to me and it was a great experience...
I tried quilling for the first time (something I'd been afraid to try before) at the Quilled Creations booth - and it was fun! (www.quilledcreations.com).
Saw some great new stamps that will be coming out from Technique Tuesday and Lawn Fawn... (it's probably good they don't let you buy)....
I spoke with the the people at the Sillhouette Cameo booth and saw some of the great things the machine can do (did I mention it was delivered - I just can't open it yet)??? (www.silhouetteamerica.com) I'm pretty excited about it!
I got some great stickers at www.markrichardsusa.com
I saw some great new products - some cool led lights that my dad will love from dazzu light-craft studio - can't wait to get a hold of some of them... (www.mydazzu.com)
The people from hot off the press (www.b2b.hotp.com) showed me some amazing new products - isn't this an amazing card???
Saw some great man-papers at kite tails designs (a brand spanky new company!) (www.kitetailsdesigns.com)
And to top it all off, I got to go to Bucca Di Beppo with 14 other crafty ladies that I knew on facebook but not in real life. It was a blast!!!
It's a little late - after midnight - so I will write more tomorrow. We intend to hit the big stuff tomorrow... er today... like Tim Holtz and Martha Stewart. I'll have a helper so hopefully I'll get to take more photos. By the way, this post wasn't an advertisement - I just wanted to share some things I saw that probably won't be covered too much by others...
I will say - if you ever get the opportunity - you should go... It's amazing!
Have a great day!
Jennifer
