Fun Folds...Part Two

Hi everybody

Welcome to Fun Folds - Part Two

I'm Christina.

Today I'll be showing you how to create an accordion style card, and using different techniques to make it stand out.

First, I chose which color of card stock to use...., Light brown, dark brown, blue and white. Next I folded the card, back and fourth to create an accordion. Inside I put pages from a novel (V.C. Andrews) - does anyone remember her books? Then, I inked the edges and randomly stamped images on them.

DREAMS

This is a close up...one of the letters/background.

Notice how the blue letter stands out and you can still see the subtle background.

For the back of the card, I used pattern paper that coordinates with the card stock.

The front of the card I chose to stamp a butterfly on the front - to tie in with the stamped butterflies inside. Also I decided to color the butterfly to match the card stock.
I love butterflies...they are so unique and you can do a lot of different techniques with them, creating dimension...etc.

Next time, I'll show you the wonderful world of butterflies.

Thanks for stopping by.....

Christina
